Several months ago, when my wife and I decided we wanted to do something special with our immediate family for my 44th birthday…we knew we’d want to be on the Cape for it. It’s our favorite place on Earth, bar none. So when we found the listing for this gorgeous house on Ballston Beach in Truro - we took the leap of faith that it would be the right choice for us. Boy, were we rewarded for that faith. The location and views are incredible. For us, it doesn’t get any better than that view from atop the dunes. But our trip wouldn’t have been as good as it was had the house itself not provided everything it did. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil, pot, and pan we could have asked for. The bedrooms were all comfy and could easily be kept cool by the combination of air conditioning and ceiling fans. Our kids could play their video games or ping pong in the basement or do puzzles at the huge tables…and much more. They had the time of their lives. Spending the week conveniently between Wellfleet and P’town was another huge bonus. We were able to get anything and go anywhere easily from our home base. It was really a fantastic time. The memories made and the times had made our stay at 118 N Pamet Rd (The Sandcastle, we called it) was worth every penny. I’m going

I was charged with planning a long weekend for 11 "sisters" and "sisters-in-law" and as you can imagine all with opinions of what a great place to stay is. I was the hero! This house was fabulous and comfortably housed all of us. It is a beautiful property, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. EVERYONE raved about the accommodations. We have all decided it is a place to return to for future "girls weekends!" Terrible weather kept us in the house for much of the weekend. In spite of this we were very comfortable. We did take some time to visit two Mansions, shop a little in downtown Newport and eat at wonderful restaurants. I highly recommend this home to all.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this home for a girls getaway! There was plenty of space for everyone, especially with 4 bathrooms to get ready in! The house was even more spacious in person and was very clean! We loved how quick the drive was to 2nd Beach. Overall everyone was impressed with the house and would definitely stay again or recommend to anyone!

We had the opportunity to stay at this home during the Thanksgiving holiday. Together my sister-in-law and I gathered our husbands, three young adults, five picky teenagers, one grandma and a needy dog with the hopes of a relaxing and restful getaway.

We were not disappointed. Appeasing our crowd was no easy task, but the size of this home, the amenities it included, the proximity to Newport, the decor, and comfort was a hit with everyone on our list!

Our trip included an unexpected trip to Newport Hospital and even that was a pleasure! The staff was super friendly, courteous, and efficient.

We absolutely loved this home and look forward to returning soon!

Communication with the owners was always a pleasure!

We were looking for a rental that could accommodate 5 couples. This was the perfect place! Every bedroom had a king size bed. The house is extremely clean, and has great amenities.

The owner answered any questions we had very quickly. He made the entire process easy.

We just got home and are making plans to return next year.

We rented a house from Chris for my sister's bachelorette weekend in downtown Newport. We had an AMAZING time!!! Chris was so patient, understanding and helpful. We had a question and concern in the house and Chris was over the house to help ASAP. He also was so easy about the payment and made us feel right at home. You are guaranteed a home run if you book with Chris!!!

Just returned from a week at this house with my extended family of 13 people. The house is comfortable, clean, well-appointed. Plenty of space for us to congregate, as well as room to get away. Fantastic decks on all three floors offer great views and sunsets. 100 yards to 1st beach, easy access for both kids and grandparents. Also, it’s only 1.4 miles to 2nd beach, where we liked the waves and quieter environment. Owner Chris was really kind, helpful, and responsive to all our needs.

You cannot beat this location. An easy bike ride to 2nd beach, the nature preserve, town and just about anywhere. An easy walk to first beach and the cliff walk. It is simply a great jumping off point. We were a large family and the multiple places to gather within the three stories suited us very well.

Large and spacious, so great for groups (we had 3 families) with plenty of space to stretch out. Steps from first beach. Older house, but well maintained. Would do again!

House was perfect... fit 13 very comfortably and was in a great location.

There was plenty of space for our entire party to stay the whole weekend. Unbelievable location right down the street from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a family reunion after wedding in Newport. Had a great time. Played games outside on large lot and inside in large communal area. House could accommodate more than advertised. Everything was in order and clean. Had everything we needed in kitchen and elsewhere. Used pool table but not jacuzzi although it was in working order.

Big house - with many bedrooms and bathrooms and lots of places to hang out. Great big kitchen! Loved playing pool and there's a big yard for outdoor games. Close walk to great coffee shop and small town beach. Close to Newport too.

We stayed over Thanksgiving, just a couple of friends with their families, spending a quiet relaxing weekend and the house was perfect for that. It had plenty of space for everyone, a large equipped kitchen to make all our meals together and a Jacuzzi to relax in at the end of the day. There's a small marker down the street and a larger one just a couple of minutes away and a small beach for the kids to look for shells at less than a mile away. The host has been more than accommodating with early check-in and late check-out, which was greatly appreciated.
